How long after I place an order should I expect delivery?
Because we are a small family run business and take care to package everything by hand, typically your order will process in 2-3 business days. Shipping times vary among states depending on the carrier. Generally, delivery time frames are as follows:
- West Coast: 1-3 business days shipping time
- Mid-West: 2-4 business days shipping time
- East Coast: 3-5 business days shipping time
* Please note, we are not responsible for holiday shipping or weather delays and do not guarantee the delivery time frames listed above.
Where can you ship?
We currently ship to many states within the U.S. (Including Utah but not via our website). Unfortunately, we can not ship directly to the consumer in certain restricted states. Below is our current list. If in doubt, call or email us and we will let you know immediately.

What do club memberships cost?
You may join our clubs for free.
Every membership is charged taxes and shipping based on where products are shipped to. These costs are not calculated in the club description of estimated cost.
How do you ensure that I am 21 years old or older?
All Pier 71 Wines shipments require an adult signature and ID by someone 21 or older upon delivery.
Are these standard sized wine bottles?
Yes, all our bottles are 750ml unless otherwise noted.
What happens if I miss my Pier 71 Wines shipment?
GSO will attempt to deliver 3 times. Once you receive your shipment notification email, you can call GSO at (800) 322-5555 and schedule a custom time frame for delivery.
* We will not be responsible for shipping charges incurred for misdirected shipments or shipments that have made 3 attempts for delivery. Having said that, in some states we use UPS as our carrier via our warehouse. When in doubt, call or email us.
How do I get in contact with someone if my question was not listed on the FAQs?

Alternatively, you can call us at (707) 888-4148 anytime and leave a voicemail. We are a small family-operated business and usually pick up the phone unless we are busy with another customer or traveling.
What happens if my Pier 71 Wines shipment is sent back to Pier 71 Wines?
The shipping service we use will make three delivery attempts before returning the wine to us. If the wine is returned to the winery, we can reship the order for a $15 fee. We suggest that you provide an address that will assure you receive the delivery, such as a place of business, with someone over the age of 21 present to sign for your order.
What if I end up with a corked or damaged bottle?
In the unlikely event that a bottle arrives damaged or corked (we inspect the wines incredibly closely before shipment), notify us as soon as possible so we can rectify the problem for you.
How can I taste Pier 71 wines?
Great question. Since we are direct importers, we are not permitted to have a public tasting room in the United States. We can however arrange a tasting with one of our partner restaurants, virtually or in your home. If you are in the food or wine industry, we can send samples or visit you with our products in person.
Can Pier 71 Wines host us in France or arrange a tour/tasting with your French brands?
