The Chateau Lesparre Bordeaux Superior 2015 comes to us from the French village of Beychac-et-Caillau and is one of the best Bordeaux we have encountered in California. The Michel Gonet Family produces wonderful medium body Bordeaux in France that is always a hit with wine lovers. Perfect for almost any occasion, the Chateau Lesparre Bordeaux, imported by Pier 71 wines, is an excellent choice for a casual dinner party at home or an elegant evening on the town.

Composed of 5% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc

Chateau Lesparre Bordeaux Superior is garnet color, with a full-bodied nose revealing aromas of undergrowth, moist earth, and slightly smoked. In the mouth, the style is flexible, melted, with light tannins. The whole is harmonious, fragrant and persistent. It pairs well with red meat, cold cuts, various cheeses (camembert, brie, coulommiers, blues) and fois gras.
